Carex morrowii ‘Fisher’s Form’

Variegated Japanese Sedge

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 8.090.420

Recently arrived from Britain, this is a clump-forming sedge, the handsome slender green leaves brightly edged in creamy-white. Excellent as an edging plant in moist shady areas, perhaps as a companion to Hostas or ferns. Also nice in mixed containers. Plants are sturdy more upright in habit than other Japanese Sedges, with a spring display of greenish flowers. Clumps may be divided in spring, but each division should be fairly large in size for best results. Evergreen.
