Hedera helix ‘Golden Ingot’

English Ivy

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 7.305.160

One of the many unique selections of English Ivy, evergreen climbing shrubs, not so often encountered in gardens. This variegated variety features sunny yellow leaves edged in dark green and marbled with vibrant green and soft gray in the center. Brightest under high light and cool temperatures. In the warmer months, the yellow may turn a lighter cream colour. Remove any all-green shoots that might appear. If using as a groundcover, the growth tips should be pinched in June for the first couple of years to force plants to branch out. Space at 3 to 10 plants per square yard. Evergreen. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/May cause skin allergy.
