Salvia ‘Amistad’

Friendship Sage

USDA Zone: 8-9

Plant number: 4.425.040

Ideal for pots or summer borders, this is a strong growing variety with stunningly beautiful flowers. Dark purple buds open to deep purple flowers with an almost black calyx. Responds to trimming by repeat flowering. This is a tender perennial in regions with mild winters, but it performs so generously with seemingly endless flowering that it is worthwhile even if it only lasts the year. Superior to other similar forms. Very attractice to hummingirds. USPP#23578, EU PBR 35867: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
