Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This midsized selection has thick leaves with dark green margins and chartreuse centres. Dark lavender flowers appear on red stems in mid summer. Sport of H. ‘Paradise Island’. Leaves are thick in substance, so slugs should not be a problem. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
