Echinacea purpurea ‘Green Twister’

Purple Coneflower

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.650.870

These wonderful summer and autumn bloomers are a favourite. They form a mound of green leaves with taller stems bearing daisy-shaped blooms. This selection offers a unique colour combination. The outer edge of the petals are yellow-green and bleed into a pale, lilac-pink in the centre, surrounding a bronze cone. A magnet to butterflies and excellent cutflowers. Ideal for sunny borders, the flowers are great for cutting. Coneflowers begin blooming in midsummer and continue for months if faded flowers are regularly removed.
