Echinacea purpurea ‘Meringue’

CONE-FECTIONS Coneflower

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.650.430

A double-flowered Coneflower, this selection produces white petals surrounding a creamy-yellow pompom with apple-green centre. The pompom expands as the flower matures and turns a lighter yellow. Plant habit is upright, well-branched, strong and bushy. Ideal for sunny borders and growing in mixed containers. Attractive to butterflies. Excellent for cutting. Coneflowers begin blooming in midsummer and continue for months if faded flowers are regularly removed. This variety is similar to E. ‘Coconut Lime’ but shorter, has a more upright habit, is more floriferous and the flowers are more white. Part of the CONE-FECTIONS™ series introduced by AB Cultivars of the Netherlands. USPP#20537: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
