Viola Angel™ ‘Black’

Angel Perennial Pansy

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.550.230

The Angel™ series are hybrids between Pansies and Violas, with medium-sized blooms on strong and bushy plants. Excellent for massing, edging, rock gardens, and in containers. Suitable for either fall or spring planting. Nice when combined with spring flowering bulbs. This variety has fragrant jet-black flowers with a yellow eye, holding its colour well even in summer. In warm regions, trim plants back by half in early June to rejuvenate the foliage and improve summer survival. In mild regions these might continue flowering all winter long. Bred and introduced by Floranova in the UK.
