Verbascum ‘Jackie in Yellow’

Showy Mullein

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.537.120

Cousins to the common roadside mullein, the Hybrid Mulleins are unusual, showy plants for the well-drained sunny border. Compact spikes form above a flat rosette of triangular grey-green leaves, with flowers in a beautiful soft yellow. Plants flower over a long period, and the spikes are excellent for cutting. Inclined to exhaust itself to death, any small offsets should be removed each spring, to start new plants.
