Tradescantia ‘Bilberry Ice’

Spiderwort

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.520.440

A beautiful hybrid selection. Narrow grassy foliage forms a compact mound that is studded with a summer-long display of triangular lavender-blue flowers, flushed with white at the petal edges. Plants should be trimmed back hard after the first flush of flowers is over, to rejuvenate the foliage and encourage repeat bloom in late summer. Happiest in a sunny, moist site. Divide clumps every 2 to 3 years in spring. Flowers are attractive to butterflies.
