Silene mexicana ‘Hot Stuff'’

Mexican Catchfly

USDA Zone: 6-9

Plant number: 1.492.150

An interesting selection for the perennial garden, best suited to sunny sites with well-drained soil. It forms a bushy mound of glossy green foliage, bearing clusters of star-shaped flowers in a bright magenta-pink shade. Remove faded flower heads for continued blooming into the summer. Excellent for cutting. May act as a short-lived perennial but will likely self seed. Nice in containers.
