Scabiosa ‘Black Pompon’

Pincushion Flower

USDA Zone: 7-9

Plant number: 1.480.500

A very unique form of the Pincushion Flower, this selection is treated as an annual in all but the mildest winter areas. It forms a compact, bushy clump of ferny, green leaves, with short branching stems that bear deep chocolate-burgundy flowers throughout the summer and into the fall. Easy to grow, looking tidy all season. An exceptional cut flower and perfect for adding flashes of rich, dark colour in the border and mixed containers. Attracts butterflies. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
