A selection of the old-fashioned Pincushion Flower. These are popular as cut flowers and in sunny borders, blooming throughout the summer and into autumn. This forms a low mound of grey-green leaves, with taller stems bearing lacy blossoms of rich lavender purple. Remove faded flowers to prolong blooming. Flowers are very attractive to butterflies. Best effect in a border is with several plants massed in a grouping. USPP#14038: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
