Saxifraga ‘Peter Pan’

Mossy Saxifrage

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.475.110

Saxifrages are an enormous group of plants most often grown in rock gardens. This selection is good choice for the partially shaded rock garden or in alpine troughs and other containers. It forms a low cushion or mound of shiny bright-green leaves, bearing short stems of red buds that open into upfacing, star-shaped rose-pink flowers in spring. Requires a cool, moist location. Dislikes drought and hot humid summer weather. Trim lightly after flowering. Evergreen.
