The Perennial Sages are invaluable for their rich display of spiky flowers in the early summer border. This Dutch selection is upright and bushy, with long spikes of flowers that are bright violet blue with a contrasting white lip. Ideal for the sunny border or in containers. Deadhead or cut back by half after blooming to encourage repeat flowering. Excellent for cutting. Drought tolerant once established. Attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds. Bred and introduced by plant breeder Piet Oudolf. USPPP#20456, CPBRAF: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
