Hybrid Groundcover Phlox

USDA Zone: 4-9

This is a hybrid groundcover Phlox from Chicagoland Grows that behaves similarly to a P. subulata. This selection from Chicagoland Grows, a cross between P. bifida and P. kelseyi ‘Lemhi Purple’, has masses of fragrant, rich violet-purple flowers with upturned petals over a low spreading mound of dark green foliage. Spreads to form a patch, easily divided in early autumn. Occasionally will rebloom through the summer and fall. Will usually tolerate full sun conditions in cool summer regions. Long blooming.
