Phlox ‘Foxy Lady’

Hybrid Moss Phlox

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.410.240

A hybrid Moss Phlox selection, this forms a compact cushion of dark green needle-like foliage, studded with round , bright magenta-red blooms in mid to late spring. Best in a well-drained rock garden, gravel scree or alpine trough. Also useful for edging in a sunny border and smashing growing from a rock wall. One of the most dense and tight-growing Phlox selections yet to be developed. Clumps may be carefully divided in early autumn after a few years. Drought tolerant once established. Evergreen. A hybrid developed by Wayne Kittredge, introduced by Siskiyou Rare Plant Nursery in Oregon.
