Persicaria polymorpha

White Fleeceflower

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.406.750

Just recently introduced, this plant is attracting a lot of interest lately from landscape designers. It forms a big, bushy mound of large green leaves, in mid-summer bursting into bloom with masses of white flowers held in tapering, fluffy spikes. This is a well behaved, clump-forming perennial, great to use at the back of a border. Tolerant of wet sites, so well-suited to waterside plantings. Excellent for cutting. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. Has proven to be hardy and an excellent performer over a wide range of climates. Does not self seed around.
