Papaver orientale ‘Pink Ruffles’

Oriental Poppy

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.401.930

Oriental Poppies provide a cheerful display of huge, satiny flowers in late spring and early summer. Plants form low mounds of coarse, hairy leaves, and usually go dormant, disappearing completely by late summer. This wonderful selection has deep salmon-pink flowers with unusual fringed petal edges. Because they disappear in summer, plant something beside Oriental Poppies that will get bushy later in the season, such as Rudbeckia, Russian Sage, or fall-flowering grasses. USPP#12712, CPBR#1657: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
