Origanum vulgare ‘White Anniversary’

Ornamental Oregano

USDA Zone: 6-9

Plant number: 1.400.970

This variegated Oregano forms a low mounding carpet of small green leaves, generously dappled with creamy-white markings. The foliage and flowers double as a culinary herb, adding a mild oregano flavor and spark of colour to salads or as an edible garnish. This is an outstanding new multi-use plant, beautiful for edging, in the rock garden or in mixed containers and baskets. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. Evergreen in mild winter regions. Drought tolerant once established. Flowers are attractive to butterflies.
