Nepeta grandiflora ‘Dawn to Dusk’

Pink Catmint

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.375.080

Large Catmint is a little-known plant in North American gardens, but this selection from Europe is a useful perennial for the middle of the sunny border. Plants have a bushy, upright habit with sturdy stems of fragrant olive-green foliage. Spikes of soft pink flowers appear in early summer and should continue for an extended season if faded blooms are removed regularly. Plants can also be trimmed back to 6 inches in midsummer, to rejuvenate. Consider combining this with blue Delphiniums or the silver-leaved Artemisia 'Valerie Finnis'. Great for cutting.
