Lupinus Staircase™ Blue

Lupine

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.330.880

The colourful spikes of Lupines are an unforgettable sight in the early summer border. Plants grow best in a deep, rich soil, slightly on the acidic side. This compact selection is part of the Staircase™ series which offers long lasting flowers with day neutral timing. Plants will rebloom until night temperatures reach above 22C (72F). Tall spires of blue flowers appear in late spring. Remove spent flowers to encourage new buds. As these are biennial or short-lived perennials, allow some plants to set seed for future generations, or trim back hard after flowering is over. Flower spikes are great for cutting. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten.
