Kniphofia ‘Fire Glow’

Glow Series Torchlily

USDA Zone: 6-9

Plant number: 1.300.700

Also known as Pokers, these are easy to grow in the garden so long as the soil is well-drained, particularly in winter. This dwarf selection was bred to fit in small spaces. Plants form a mound of grassy, evergreen leaves with taller stems bearing large, bicolor spikes of red and orange for weeks, beginning late summer. Stems are wonderful for cutting. Drought tolerant, once established. Attractive to hummingbirds. A 2010 introduction in the Glow™ series from Terra Nova Nurseries of Oregon. USPP#22894: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
