Heuchera ‘Velvet Night’

Fancy-leaf Coral Bells

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.267.400

As a group, the Hybrid Coral Bells offer the gardener a tremendous range of foliage colours, especially for shady areas. This selection forms a sturdy mound of large slate-black leaves, mottled with metallic purple. Sprays of creamy flowers appear in June. Nice with gold Hosta. Excellent in the border, for edging, or in tubs and mixed containers. Foliage should not be trimmed back in the fall, but plants may be tidied up in spring by removing any withered or tired-looking leaves. Evergreen. Divide plants every 3 to 4 years in early spring or autumn. A Terra Nova Nurseries introduction.
