Heuchera ‘Encore’

Fancy-leaf Coral Bells

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.266.260

This recent European hybrid forms a mound of lobed leaves that begin deep purple overlaid in silver, then take on lighter rose shadings in summer. Taller sprays of ivory-white flowers rise above in mid to late summer, later than most other selections. Sturdy in habit, nice for borders or in containers. Remove any winter-burned leaves in the spring, otherwise no pruning is required. Developed in France by plant breeder Thierry Delabroye, using Heuchera villosa in his breeding lines. USPP#19578: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
