Helianthemum ‘Fire Dragon’

Rock Rose

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.250.400

A charming selection of Rock Rose, this is a good plant for growing in the rock garden, gravel scree, alpine trough or using as an edging along a sunny pathway. Single glowing orange yellow-eyed flowers appear starting in late spring, over a shrubby mound of narrow silver-grey leaves. Plants must have very good drainage, particularly through the winter. Evergreen. Drought tolerant, once established, also tolerant of poor, sandy soils. Shear lightly after flowering, by no more than half. Otherwise, no pruning is generally required.
