Helianthemum ‘Hartswood Ruby’

Rock Rose

USDA Zone: 6-9

Plant number: 1.250.160

(=‘Hartswood’) A colourful selection of Rock Rose, this is a good plant for growing in the rock garden, gravel scree, alpine trough or using as an edging along a sunny pathway. Single, saucer-shaped, yellow-eyed, true red flowers appear over a shrubby mound of narrow, glossy, green leaves in late spring and last well into midsummer. Plants must have very good drainage, particularly through the winter. Evergreen. Drought tolerant, once established. Also tolerant of poor, sandy soils. Shear lightly after flowering, by no more than half. Otherwise, no pruning is generally required. From Blooms of Bressingham®. USPP#20044: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
