Helenium Red & Gold mixture

Fall Helenium

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.245.100

(='Rotgold') Also known as Helen’s Flower, or Sneezeweed, there are many fine hybrid selections, valued for their late summer display of bright daisy-like flowers. This strain features flowers in many autumn shades, from yellow to gold, orange, red and bronze. Excellent in the border, as well as for cutting. Often needs to be staked. Plants may be pinched back in June to reduce the height. Easily divided in early spring. Performs best when grown in a moist, rich soil and watered during summer droughts. Powdery mildew can sometimes be a problem. Attractive to butterflies.
