Geranium pratense ‘Dark Reiter’

Meadow Cranesbill

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.229.620

The perennial Cranesbills include a number of plants that are excellent for massing in the border or woodland garden. This compact selection forms a mound of deeply-cut, plum-purple foliage, bearing clusters of lilac-blue flowers appearing early to late summer. Perfect for containers. Trim back to 4 inches after blooming, to rejuvenate the foliage. Easily divided in spring or fall if desired. Developed from G. ‘Midnight Reiter’ and ‘Victor Reiter'.
