Gazania linearis ‘Colorado Gold’

Colorado Gold Hardy Gazania

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.224.750

This perennial Gazania is native to the mountains of South Africa, and a cousin to the annual bedding types. It forms a low tuft or mound of leathery, dark-green leaves, bearing golden-yellow daisies all season long. Remove faded flowers regularly to encourage more buds to form. Needs excellent winter drainage to prevent rotting, so best grown in a well-drained rock garden, gravel scree or alpine trough. Drought tolerant once established. A 1998 Plant Select® introduction.
