Dianthus ‘Heart’s Desire’

Border Pinks

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.180.770

Border Pinks have been popular in gardens for centuries. This selection forms a low cushion of grassy blue-green foliage. Double flowers are bubblegum pink stained with ruby red and bursting with a sweet clove fragrance. An excellent addition to the sunny rock garden, alpine trough or for edging. Plants should be trimmed lightly after blooming to maintain a tight, compact mound. Evergreen. The flower petals of all types of Dianthus are edible. From Blooms of Bressingham®. USPP#20323: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
