Brunnera macrophylla ‘Dawson’s White’

Siberian Bugloss

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.106.240

This superb woodland perennial forms a clump of heart-shaped green leaves boldly edged with creamy-white. Sprays of bright blue Forget-me-not flowers appear in mid to late spring. This is a choice collector’s plant, much in demand, but often in limited supply. Excellent in the shade garden. Very similar in appearance to the older selection ‘Variegata’, but said to be more sun tolerant. Plants may be divided carefully in early fall, but very small pieces have a tendency to revert to plain green.
