Aubrieta ‘Royal Red’

Rock Cress

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.090.420

Rock Cress, along with Arabis and Aurinia are extremely popular rock garden plants, and a familiar sight in the spring garden. They form a low cushion of evergreen leaves, literally smothered by flowers for several weeks. This strain has flowers in various shades of crimson-red to pink, over grey-green leaves. Plants should be trimmed lightly immediately after blooming, to encourage a thick mounding habit. Excellent choice for a rock garden in sun or part shade, growing over rock walls, or in alpine troughs and other containers.
