Astilbe chinenses Partiezz ‘Surprise Party’

Chinese Astilbe

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.086.980

Astilbe are a popular choice for shady gardens, where they perform well if given a rich, moist soil and regular watering. This compact, late-blooming selection features showy, hot pink plumes, over a mound of elegant, green to gold textured foliage. Also thrives in tubs, or mixed containers. Excellent for cutting. Fertilize in April and June. Seed heads may be removed, or left on the plant for winter interest. Plants should be divided every 2 to 3 years in early spring. May tolerate full sun in cool summer regions.
