Alpine Aster

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.085.120

Alpine Aster is an early-blooming species, often grown in rock gardens or used for edging in the perennial border. It forms a low carpet of bright green leaves, bearing taller branching stems with daisy-shaped flowers in late spring and early summer. Not a long-lived plant, but will self-seed to produce successive generations, if allowed. This outstanding strain features large blooms of soft blue, followed by fluffy seedheads.
