It forms a clump of arrowhead-shaped leaves, dark green with handsome silver markings, similar to a Cyclamen. Deep purple-brown flowers hide among the leaves in spring. Evergreen in mild winter regions. Highly regarded by collectors of unique woodland plants. Combines beautifully with ferns, Hosta and all kinds of other shade garden treasures.
