Arctanthemum arcticum ‘Red Chimo’

Arctic Daisy

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.065.900

(Formerly known as Chrysanthemum arcticum) This is a Canadian selection, featuring deep rose-pink single daisies with a dainty yellow centre. Plants form a cushion of medium green leaves, absolutely smothered with flowers in late summer. Plants perform best in a warm, sunny location and are suitable for the border, rock garden, edging, or in mixed containers. Should be divided regularly to maintain vigour. A hardier and more carefree alternative to Garden Mums. This possibly should be listed under Chrysanthemum yezoense. Excellent for cutting. Registered with COPF: royalty required for propagation.
