Aquilegia chrysantha ‘Yellow Queen’

Golden Columbine

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.050.140

Columbines are now available in a wide range of colours and plant heights. This selection features tall stems of large lemon-yellow spurred flowers. These appear in succession over many weeks in early to mid summer. Foliage is blue-green and lacy. Excellent for cutting. Since Columbines are relatively short lived, allow some of the plants to go to seed and self sow. Leaf miners or sawfly may disfigure the leaves around flowering time. Simply trim off the ugly foliage and the plants will grow fresh leaves.
