Anthemis carpatica Snow Carpet

White Marguerite Daisy

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.045.170

(=‘Karpatenschnee’) This is a seldom seen species, but terrific for edging, in containers or the rock garden. It forms a compact cushion of grey-green leaves, studded all over with small white daisies, each with a dainty yellow eye. Flowering begins in late spring and continues well into summer, especially if faded flowers are removed. Shear back lightly after flowering is over, to tidy up the clumps and encourage repeat flowering in the autumn. Drought tolerant. Requires excellent drainage, especially in winter. Prefers neutral or acidic soils.
