Alcea ficifolia ‘Happy Lights’

Single Hollyhock

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.030.970

This beautiful strain produces satiny single blooms in a wide range of clear pastel shades. Developed to be more resistant to rust disease, which often infects and disfigures the leaves of Hollyhocks. Plants form a low mound of foliage the first year, with very tall spikes of flowers appearing in the second season. A self-seeding biennial or short-lived perennial. Allow some plants to develop ripe seed each season and provide future generations. Attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds.
