Ajuga genevensis

Carpet Bugle

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.030.300

Unlike the more typical ground covering selections of Bugleweed, this species is grown more as a clumping edging plant, without the same tendency to spread. Plants form a distinctive mound of rounded green leaves, bearing short upright spikes of deep blue flowers in spring. Nice in the shady border or woodland. Clumps may be easily divided in spring or fall. Evergreen.
