Auricula Primrose

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.446.810

(=‘Clone 2317’) This is a unique kind of Primrose, totally unlike more commonly grown forms. Leaves are thick and waxy with a dusting almost like flour, forming a low rosette. Large clusters of fragrant, single, brilliant red flowers with a lemon-yellow eye appear throughout the spring. Appreciates evenly moist soil but needs good drainage. Evergreen. Divide carefully after blooming if desired. Part of the BAVARIAN GAUDI™ series.
