Arenaria montana ‘Avalanche’

Mountain Sandwort

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.066.040

A very classy little alpine or rock garden plant. This is a new and improved variety forming a low evergreen cushion of grey-green leaves, bearing loads of large white flowers during the spring months. In sandy soils, this will root and spread slowly to form a patch. Great for edging paths, between flagstones, in walls or trough gardens. Requires a well-drained site. Easily divided in spring or early fall. Drought tolerant, once established.
