Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This midsized selection has thick, rounded leaves of blue-green with a wide gold edge.White flowers appear in July.Good slug resistance. A sport of ‘August Moon’ from Bill Mitchell, discovered in 1986. Reported to have good sun tolerance.
