Veronica prostrata ‘Golden Halo’
Golden Creeping Speedwell |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.540.290
This is a low-growing Speedwell, suited to the rock garden, as a groundcover or for edging perennial borders. It forms a low mound of bright yellow leaves streaked along the edges with lime green, with short spikes of bright-blue flowers in late spring. Shear plants back lightly after blooming. In hot summer regions this might prefer some protection from hot afternoon sun. The foliage is a beautiful contrast to other plants in mixed containers. Said to be tolerant of wet sites.
