Phlox paniculata ‘Classic Cassis’

Summer Phlox

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.416.030

Summer Phlox is very popular for its midsummer display in the sunny border. This compact selection produces large clusters of dark lavender overlapping petals surrounding a purple eye on strong stems. Attractive to butterflies. The dwarf habit makes this suitable for the front of the border or in containers. Flowering is always best in a sunny location. Good mildew resistance although Summer Phlox always benefit from a location that provides good air circulation and consistent moisture. Remove faded flowers to encourage more buds to form. From plant breeder Jan Verschoor of the Netherlands. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
