Lobelia ‘Pink Flamingo’

Hybrid Lobelia

USDA Zone: 6-9

Plant number: 1.328.340

The perennial Lobelias have upright spikes of large flowers, not at all like the more familiar trailing types grown in hanging baskets. They are terrific plants for the boggy garden, adapting well to having their feet wet, but growing equally well under average conditions. This selection has a narrow, upright habit with dark green foliage. In late summer through fall, tall flower spikes appear, bearing many small tubular, bright rose-pink blooms, some appearing along the flower stem. Excellent for using as a specimen or massing in the border, containers and tubs. Nice for cutting. Attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten.
