Hosta ‘Summer Breeze’
Plant number: 1.276.830
Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This midsized selection has leaves of dark green, with a contrasting wide, streaky border of chartreuse to yellow. Midsummer blooms are lavender mauve. A sport of the variety 'Summer Music'. Leaves are somewhat thin in substance, so slugs may be a problem.
