Hosta ‘Blue Hawaii’

Hosta

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.700.260

Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This large selection has heart-shaped blue corrugated leaves hold their colour very well. Taller stems of fragrant white flowers appear in midsummer. Terrific as a specimen in a container or border. Clumps may be easily divided in the spring or fall. While deer enjoy eating Hosta, this variety may be slightly less palatable to deer than others. Registered by O. Petrynszyn in 1999.
