Hibiscus moscheutos ‘Southern Belle’

Hardy Hibiscus

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.270.050

Perennial Hibiscus are valued for their showy late-summer display of enormous satiny blooms, flowering best in areas with long, hot summers. They form upright, bushy mounds well suited to the back of a perennial border. This classic strain produces flowers in shades of pink, red and white, with a contrasting crimson eye. Will tolerate average to wet conditions in full sun. Dies back completely to the ground in winter, but new growth is slow to appear in spring, be patient! A thick mulch for the first winter is recommended, especially in Zones 4 and 5.
