Helleborus × hybridus LS White Lady Spotted

Lenten Rose

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.256.670

This Lenten Rose is part of the Lady Series from Gisela Schmiemann of Cologne, Germany and is an easy spring blooming perennial for the shady woodland garden. Plants produce bushy clumps of thick, leathery evergreen leaves. Flower stalks appear in early spring, bearing showy cup-shaped blooms. This strain produces white flowers richly spotted with dark red in the centers. Site these where they will stay for many years, since the plants resent being disturbed. Trim the old leaves to the ground in late winter to give the flowers maximum impact. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant.
